Michael first discovered the joys and benefits of yoga in 1997 while working in an Australian Apple orchid. Since then he has been practicing yoga and incorporating its philosophy into his life. His classes (often synchronized with breath and music) focus on fun, alignment principles and present moment awareness. He enjoys offering variations on poses so students can move at their own pace and and modify as desired. Michael’s kind and gentle manner is well suited to leading students of all levels on and off the mat. He and his wonderful wife Amy co-founded award winning Yoga One in 2002. They have two amazing children. Michael also enjoys surfing, drumming, listening to music, traveling, writing and spending time with friends and family.
