Lauren’s journey with movement began in the dance studio, where she spent her early years shaping not only her body, but also her sense of self. When she chose to step away from professional dance, she embarked on the challenging but rewarding process of rediscovering herself and learning to embrace her body anew.
From her very first class yoga class, she knew the yoga studio her yoga mat would be a place for cultivating deeper self-awareness and acceptance. Her personal practice has continued to evolve ever since, opening countless pathways toward freedom, connection, and joy.
Lauren completed her initial teacher training in 2016. She has since come to see that her teaching and personal practice are deeply intertwined, each informing and enriching the other. Over time, she’s also recognized that yoga doesn’t end when she steps off the mat – it is a way of being in the world.
Lauren is grateful to share this practice, offering students a space to connect with themselves and with the world around them through physical, mental, and spiritual exploration.
