Emily was introduced to yoga in 2010 as a way to balance out endurance running. She quickly fell in love with the way the practice kept both her mind and her body flexible and free and has since been an avid practitioner.

Emily received her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2018from Mosaic Yoga in San Diego and has since taught a range of classes, ranging from restorative to vinyasa. She loves to bring yoga to other fellow athletes and those new to the practice, introducing people of all ages to the physical,mental and spiritual benefits of yoga. She’s dedicated to holding space for students of all levels and encouraging mobility and mental curiosity.

In addition to teaching yoga, Emily is a full-time public relations professional. When she’s not storytelling at work or on the mat,Emily can be found playing at the beach, enjoying time with her husband and kitty cat or testing out dozens of new recipes.
