Elah completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yogaview in Chicago in 2024, but she was first exposed to the practice at the age of three. She is currently a master’s student in Marital and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego. She deepened her commitment to yoga in undergrad, where she discovered it as a way to find strength and resilience in the face of mental health challenges. Elah pulls from both her extensive physiological knowledge as a NASM-certified personal trainer and her studies as a future clinician to provide classes that are both physically and mentally engaging.
She believes in providing trauma-informed classes that both nurture and inspire students to practice self-care and tune into the wisdom that lies within their bodies. She primarily teaches vinyasa flow, yin, and restorative classes, with additional training in yoga nidra, chair yoga, nutrition coaching, mindful movement practices, breathwork, and functional strength training.
