Shiatsu Massage:
Traditional hands-on therapy originating in Japan, this massage is similar to the way the body is treated during acupuncture—only without needles. Practitioner uses thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows on acupressure points. Stretching of different body parts is also included. This massage is done on a mat on the floor, in loose-fitting comfortable clothes.
Chi Nei Tsang:
Pronounced: Chee Nay Song, this is a Chinese system of healing massage that focuses on the navel center of the body, training the organs to work more efficiently. Our organs not only process food, but our emotions as well. This abdominal massage is powerful and profound to bring awareness to your center and encourage movement in your digestion and relaxation to your organs. It assists with releasing emotions/memories that have been stored in your body. Chi Nei Tsang frees the blockages in the abdomen and guides the healing energy through the entire body.
Thai Massage:
Using pressure points and lots of stretching, this massage is like yoga being done to your body for you. This form of bodywork is usually performed on the floor, and the client wears comfortable clothes that allow for movement. No oils are used. A full Thai massage session typically lasts two hours or more, and includes rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body; this may include pulling fingers, toes, ears, cracking the knuckles, walking on the recipient's back, and arching the recipient into cobra pose.
