From 5 frwy, exit Pershing / B St. and travel west on B St. From South: Take I-5 North and exit Pershing / B St. and travel west on B St. PARKING NEW! 9 hour meters available near 8th and Beech. Look for green colored meters. 50 cents per hour. 2 hr. meters on 8th, 9th and B streets. (7th Ave. has only 1 hr. meters.) Pre-paid meter cards are available at various locations near downtown: http://www.portofsandiego.org/sandiego_more/parking.asp (They are great and work like pre-paid calling cards for all meters in San Diego City.) Horton Plaza validates parking for 3 hours and is approximately an 8-10 minute walk. All meters and yellow commercial zones are free after 6pm weekdays and Sundays all day. More green colored  meters on 9th, 13th and E streets - 4 hour to 9 hours.
